Our VOPC Sunday worship service is from 9:45 - 11:00 a.m.
When you arrive at our church building you will soon see that this is a very busy place.
Every Sunday we host multiple worship services with congregations meeting in separate
locations for worship in English and Korean languages.
At Vision of Peace, we attract an English-speaking congregation of diverse cultural backgrounds.
Our children enjoy their own Christian Education programming downstairs.
As well, we have a fully staffed and equipped nursery for our toddlers.
New Bible studies are being organized throughout
the year in member's homes throughout the N. Virginia, Maryland and D.C. area.
These small groups are designed to meet the spiritual and fellowship
needs of college students, single professional adults, and married couples.

"Those who know God the best are the richest and most powerful in prayer.
Little acquaintance with God, and strangeness and coldness to Him,
make prayer a rare and feeble thing." (E. M. Bounds)
Therefore, Vision of Peace determines to be a people who are purposeful about prayer.
Become a member of our VOPC prayer team. As well, please feel most welcome to share with us
of any concerns, or items of praise.
Children and Youth Ministries: Vision of Peace has partnered with the congregations
of the Korean United Methodist Church of Greater Washington to provide programs that
reach out to over 200 children and 150 high school and junior high teens every week.
College and Young Adult Ministries: At Vision of Peace you will have the opportunity to
develop many new friendships with people your own age. Following the Sunday worship service and
throughout the week get together with other Christians.
Family Ministries: Grab the kids and bring them along to various fun events that
are spontaneously organized by members of our congregation. Better yet!
Take a break from the children and plan an excursion with other parents just like you.
Sport's Ministry: We participate in an interchurch softball league during the summer.
Additionally, some of our members like planning Superbowl parties and/or purchasing tickets
to see the pro's in the Greater Washington area.
Throughout the year there are numerous opportunities to get involved both locally and globally.
We encourage our members to use their cross-cultural skills and professional experiences to impact the world for Jesus.
Every year, teams are recruited and trained from our church to minister to needy people wherever they live.
We are also developing strategic partnerships with other Christians who are passionate about glorifying God
in their love for people. Upon making Vision of Peace your new church home, expect to be challenged
to participate in what the Lord is accomplishing.
